Jess Jones

Family Advocate

Jess Jones is the Family and Victim Advocate here at McKenzie’s Hope. Spending most of her life in south-eastern Pennsylvania, Jess recently moved to Huntington after four years in Texas studying for her masters. Jess received her Master of Social Work and Master of Divinity from Baylor University, concentrating in community practice. Along with experience in child welfare, non-profit administration, and research, Jess interned for over a year with the child advocacy center in her hometown and was greatly impacted and moved by the work. Jess is honored for the opportunity to work alongside children, families, and survivors of domestic violence as they seek justice and together bring hope to the Huntington community.

The way to Jess’s heart is through her stomach, and you can most often find her cooking, reading cookbooks, or eyeing the menu from the newest restaurant she wants to try. When she is not working or thinking about food, Jess loves to watch movies, read books, and travel to new places with her husband.
